Youth Mobilization Specialist - International Consultant – October 2022- October 2023
Responsible to lead and coordinate "The Youth Gender Innovation Agora Network" through creating regional strategies and work plans for youth mobilization in favor of men’s and boys’ caregiving and household responsibilities, and women’s economic empowerment, ... designing and rolling out surveys with youth, data analysis, organizing and facilitating online and offline workshops, creating stories on youth.
In addition to supporting and promoting WeRise Gamification App, through creating expansion, marketing and enrollment strategies.
The Youth Gender Innovation Agora Network: The UN Women Regional Office for Arab States (ROAS) established the Youth Gender Innovation Agora (GIA) in 2018 as a consultative forum and platform for regular dialogue with youth. The GIA is constituted from eminent civil society professionals, young activists, and advocacy and social media influencers to support youth representatives to develop innovative gender equality solutions and engage with a broader range of stakeholders. The GIA members provide expertise on youth and gender issues, design innovative solutions and campaigns, encourage the mobilization of young people and facilitate the dissemination of information to networks and organizations around the region.

Working as an International Gamification Consultant for the UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States "ROAS" coordinating the expansion of WeRise mobile App in the MENA region especially in "Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon and Egypt".
My position focuses on developing the expanding strategy of WeRise in the MENA region, supporting the App development by working closely with the App developing firm, supporting the app related content and features, creating teams in the MENA to support the expansion phase of WeRise, enhancing the UX and UI of the App, ...
The project started from the UN Women Jordan, Arabic HeForShe and the Netherland Embassy. After the great success of phase I the UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States decided to launch phase II of the App and expand it in the MENA region under the programme ‘Men and Women for Gender Equality’ -funded by Sweden-.Learn more about WeRise, here.

Community Management and User Moderation for MENA – January 2017 - Present
I've been supporting the MENA Region as a Community Management and User Moderation at Jodel since 2017, and proudly I was able to translate the application into Arabic and supporting the team by creating the base of the macros and blogs in Arabic to have the best customer service and support experience.
In the past few years I've been able to solve satisfactorily 500,000+ tickets from the MENA region supporting the users by solving their enquiries to have the best experience using Jodel.

WARAGAMI is specialized in paper art "Origami & Quilling" by offering kits with all the necessary tools, materials and bilingual guidebooks for different ages and levels in Jordan.
The word WARAGAMI is inspired by the Arabic word "WARAG" and the Japanese word "GAMI" which means paper.
I established the company in Jordan as a hobby when I was at university in 2014, and registered it officially and got the first investment in September 2016.
During my journey at WARAGAMI, I got the King Abdullah II Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Orange Social Venture Prize.
Arabic HeForShe
Founder and Coordinator – October 2015 - February 2021
HeForShe, it's a solidarity movement for gender equality that launched by the UN Women in NYC in September 2014.
I founded Arabic HeForShe movement in the Middle East in October 2015 with a mission to inspire and advocate youth all over the Arab countries to stand on the right side of history by taking a bold action supporting the mission of planet 5050 by 2030.
I worked on the movement as the coordinator and my main responsibilities included:
- Managing a network of 500+ volunteers in Jordan;
- Supporting the other branches of the movement in the MENA region, such as: HeForShe Oman and HeForShe Tunisia;
- Networking and partnership with different embassies, organizations, and companies;
- Designing 100+ projects and activities aim to advocate and empower youth;
- Educate the peers by giving online and offline workshops on different topics, such as: Gender Equality, GBV, Reproductive Health, SGDs, Improvising Theater for Peer Education, Debate and Public Speaking, Sexual Awareness, ... in Jordan, Mexico, Malta, U.S.A., and Kosovo.Learn more about HeForShe, here.

• Partnership with the national and international organizations for the exchange programs;

Certified Trainer on Peer Education – June 2016 - June 2019
The Royal Health Awareness Society is Jordan's guide and conscience when it comes to our health.
I was one of the 7 main professional trainers who got selected by Mentor Arabia to support the mission of creating a thriving Jordanian youth generation protected against risky behaviors of addiction through giving workshops and launching awareness campaigns around the kingdom.
Main objectives:
-Prevent use of drugs (as well as tobacco) through raising awareness and educating children and youth about the harms of such risky behaviors;
-Build adolescents and children capacity in social and life skills and engage them in productive activities.Internship – October 2015 - June 2016
UN Women is the United Nations organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women.
I established Arabic HeForShe movement in the MENA region and started with the UN Women to coordinate it as an intern, to support the vision of the movement to create bold actions and impact towards gender equality.

I got my bachelor' degree in Genetics and Biochnology, and while doing it, I had the oppourtunity to have an internship at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman.
During my iternship I worked in 7 different departments, starting from the Cells and Tissue Department, to the Blood Department, moving to the Genetic Diseases Department and others...
